Welcome to the home page of Metropolitan Local Masters Swimming Committee (Metro LMSC) the local organizing body of United States Masters Swimming, Inc. We are a group of sportswomen and sportsmen founded in 1970 and dedicated to the promise that the lives of our participants will be enhanced through aquatic physical conditioning. We offer adults in New York City, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, and Putnam Counties the opportunity to participate in lifelong fitness and/or competitive swimming programs. Our LMSC and USMS supports and encourages competition among our members and participants from other nations.
